I have no idea what those symbols in the brown boxes mean! I've used pay phones a gazillion years ago, and never saw those before.

Doesn't look like a U.S. pay phone. The pay phones I remember were all black.

Haven't seen one quite like that one, but I remembeer using pay phones. Now we have cell phones that are so complicated! I seldom use mine--only for emergencies and to play Scrabble on it while waiting for an appointment! I just use my home phone. Couldn't do without it!

Hurray elijah....I'm with you all the way! It's disgusting how many people just cannot live without a cell phone attached to their hands. Have seen couples at dinner on their phones and not interacting or talking to each other. So, so sad we've come to this. Like you, I have mine only for emergencies. I don't need a "smart" phone..I can think for myself! Ha Ha.

Mine's a little pre-paid flip phone. I load more time/money when I need to. Works for me!

I have an iPhone which I really don't use except to take a few pictures once in a while.I have a regular phone at home which I use.
