I see some very pretty patterns that I would purchase, although I am not a seamstress. I don't sew, don't paint, don't cook, and can't draw a straight line with a ruler. Ha Ha. My interests lie in puzzles, the form of which lie in crossword and jigsaws, or anything where I have to use the good old grey matter.

Good morning all. May you all have a beautiful day. Very nice bright puzzle to start us all off. interesting patterns and lines. Not that easy to do. The bottom material in orange/peach stripes, I would make place mates for my kitchen table. They would have to be double sided, quilted and of course washable. The second side would be the black striped material on the bottom right. :) Bright side & dark side. What would your choices be? Have a great day and be safe. :) >^-^<

Hi, tomandray.
I choose the second from the top on the right --- the first full bolt picture. The other side might be one of those colors.
It is so hard to find quilted, washable placemats these days. You almost need to make your own.

Hello JAMP124 Very nice choice in colors; would make beautiful pillows or any accent item. Those nice place mats went away with the 80's. I've made some of my own in the past. Just don' get the sewing machine out anymore. Hands hurt too much for that. Instead I enjoy writing, when I can, adult color books and puzzles. :) I still like to cook, experiment with recipes. I made a Pasta Bolonaise on Saturday. Takes a while to get the flavors to come together in the sauce. Very good, worth the time and effort. Have a great day. :) >^-^<

I'm with you on writing, puzzles and cooking (but to a lesser degree! )
Do you like Cryptograms? They are my favorite with crosswords second.
I may look up a Pasta Bolonaise recipe --- had it in Spain and loved it, but never tried it. Thanks for the reminder!

Hi JAMP124, Please explain, what is a cryptogram? No idea. I love Search a Word books and Mazes..the books are hard to find. Did find a nice one at Ollies.
Have a good evening. >^-^<

Cryptogram --- every letter is represented by another letter. Looks like an unintelligible jumble!
However, there are clues. A single letter is either and a or an i. An apostrophe and a letter at the end of a sentence is usually --- 's. There may be one on the puzzle page in your newspaper --- near Sudoku. They are a challenge. Sometimes I can't get it so I put it aside and come back later --- and something clicks! I see a clue that I didn't earlier. Try it!

Tomandray, Amazon is a good source of Word Search puzzle books, both regular and large print. I get them for my mother who has limited vision. Love the Word Searches!

Oh what beautiful and colorful fabric. Makes me want to clean off my sewing machine and sew. If I could sit still for long enough I have a rocking chair I need to recover again. The woman we bought our house from left it here and there was something about it that made me love it. It must be 75 years old, has wooden arms and is a smaller size rocker, just the right size for me. Made a covered footstool to match, now I have a comfy place to read. You all be safe and comfy today.

Sounds like a nursing rocker, darambo. They are just the right size for mom and baby - arm support so Mom's arms don't give out before baby is finished nursing. My mother (age 96) still has hers. She's recovered the seat twice that I know of. Still looks great - both the rocker and Mom!

Akan thanks for the info. I think you may be right, I investigated and sounds like my chair. I had never heard of this type of rocker. I love this chair, I wonder if Pearl nursed all her kids using it. I admire Pearl she was a member of one of the founding families of our town. Her and her husband had a saw mill on the land our house sits on and he died in a mill accident. As a form of therapy she built the house we live in and I do mean SHE built it. Our house is in a history book about our town, she also raised 5 children and ran the saw mill. Got to know her some before she passed away. Amazing woman. The arms on that chair are in the perfect position, I could imagine nursing with baby in my arms......just the perfect! All be safe.

I want to know if you won or Cleo won about the pill?

Have fun today with the pill....

CatLady OKC--Tabby is doing OK. Cleo goes to vet next Wednesday for blood work. Just want to find out that she is OK since she is always wanting to eat. If they leave most of what is in their plate, I just put it in a sandwich ziplock bag. It fits perfect and save it for the next "go-round".

Yes Aussiesapphire, it is very colorful fabric. Love the colors today. My choice of all the fabrics would be the second one down on the left, the diamond pattern. I used to like to sew. Could make something nice and interesting with it, like a skirt or jumper. What would be your choice?
Have a good day. Blessings to you and all the puzzlers. :)
