"When you are troubled and worried and sick at heart
And your plans are upset and your world falls apart,
Remember God's ready and waiting to share
The burden you find much to heavy to bear–
So with faith, "Let Go and Let GOD" lead your way."
– Helen Steiner Rice

Good night and God bless. Hugs.

Aussie, that's a verse from another of my "decopaged plaques! " I memorized the third and fourth line a LONG time ago...It gets me through some very bad times.

Canyonman, are you from Canyon, Texas? I have a lot of relatives that live there! Know any Upshaws?

I have relatives all over there, too! My dad lived in the Hill Country after my mom passed away. He lived in Horseshoe Bay, and his twin brother was the mayor in Marble Falls. When they got too feeble, they both moved to a home in Austin to be near three out of five of my cousins. They were born in Smithville and grew up in San Antonio. I've got relatives all over Texas! (Probably more than you wanted to know! )

Wonder what country that's meant to represent. Ruritania, perhaps? ;)

Don't know if you mean Romania - I think that's a U.S. passport. Would love to back to Italy. Oh I loved that country!

I've never been but it would be a great trip. My grandparents were from Northern Italy.

Ruritania is a fictional country used as the setting for The Prisoner of Zenda and other novels/movies.

The briefcase looks well worn and old but the passport does not look as if it has ever been used...Wonder where the person is going..

Didn't renew it since I won't be traveling where I will need one. However, I have many memories of when I had to use one.
