The only color changes are Dogwoods, Sumac, Virginia Creeper and Poison Ivy. And those don't really change till 'north Florida fall' in December and January.

I know Dogwoods get flowers. I know about poison ivy. We had it at our beach cottage in Massachusetts. I never got poison ivy but my sister got it every summer when we were there.
Wonderful colors.
I love Fall because it has a little of everything. You get the warm sun but cool winds. You get the last of the flowers and the ripening of the fruits and vegetables. You get a mix of weather and often the first snowfall. And you get two of the best holidays..Thanksgiving and the preparations and decorations for Christmas. And the third best..Halloween. Have to give Easter its due. It should be first but the way we celebrate in this country it's only second to Christmas.
Fall is the most exciting because of the anticipation of a new school year. And there's the start of the football season...which does not interest me but is a stand out for most.
Thank you Lord for the seasons and most of all for Fall.

Fantastic colors of autumn. I have never seen such beautiful colors in the trees, shrubs and bushes this fall before. Yesterday, even the weatherman mentioned it's beyond beautiful this year with the foliage. I enjoyed this jigsaw puzzle.
