Whoever fashioned these using paper is a genius. Some look so real!

Oh, they're paper. I was thinking they look like fabric. Fun puzzle anyway.

Not real roses, but so pretty.

Some of these paper roses are not of a color of real roses. Having said that, several of them are identical to ones growing in my backyard. Love roses....especially mine!

Hi, my dad had a garden with lots of roses when he was alive. They lived in Kansas. I had a few here at the house, but they don't like the heat were we live. Hit high today upper 80's here.

"A kittens grew older, they became more and more frolicsome, swarming up the curtains, playing about the writing table and scampering behind books...One of the kittens...became known by the servants as the master's cat be of his devotion to my father. - Mamie Dickens, daughter of Charles Dickens"

Pretty good likeness for paper although the colors are garish. The picotee is pretty but more like a begonia. I'd be proud of making them if I had done it as whoever did must have spent lots of time and love on them. Somebody's daughter is going to be very happy.
Good puzzle.
Wishing you plenty of energy today to finish all your pursuits with success.

Thanks nborchardt. Hope all goes well. I did the gardening early today. Now it's almost 90 out. Whew. Glad I can stay inside now. Except I do have to water. Oh boy. Well I do it under my trusty golf umbrella...never golf. Just use it for when I do plein aire art on trips. In Idaho I was able to spend a day at the Shoshone Falls working on a pastel w/o any discomfort eventhough it was 96 then.

I did get everything done that I wanted to, so it was a very good day. What a great idea for using a golf umbrella!!!!

The thing is finding a spot where you don't obstruct anyone else from seeing; you have a way to sit relatively comfortably; you have something that will hold up the umbrella. I bring lots of bungis for attaching to railings or trees--whatever will work. The hard ones are when you are near a road because the big trucks go by and blow the umbrella inside out.
