Ditto. I tried making paper roses following a youtube instruction on folding paper. After 2 hours of trying I got nothing worthwhile. Part of the problem is I did not have the right paper but still..This was a five petal rose. I could do the four petal ones but they don't look real.

I could not think of origami. I kept getting ichibana when I tried and I knew that was flower arranging.

I've made paper flowers with varying degrees of success, but I don't think anyone was ever surprised to discover they were made out of paper.
