I tried this puzzle which I expected to like but I almost immediately saw I had a problem when I found duplicates of the pieces so that instead of 300 pieces I had 600. It was the same for 192 pieces-every thing was doubled.

He doesn't look very happy. You can train an owl like a falcon. I love the way their heads swivel 180°. Saw a nice one 2 summers ago at a state fair raptor exhibit.
Stay warm.

Dbnc I have an in-law who lives in NC but she's in the western part of the state near Ashland.
Good idea to stay inside in this weather. It must be damp and windy near the coast.

Yes that's true that you can train an owl. I thought all owls were nocturnal. My cousin lives in NC and many ppl I know go to an area near Asheville.

Those beautiful eyes starring at you! The first part of the puzzle I finished were those starring eyes. Really a quick but beautiful puzzle to do.

Being a bird nerd, I had to investigate. The orange eyes indicate this owl is active around dawn and dusk. Darker eyed owls hunt at night. Love this one- thanks C4J!

XY: abacii is a variation of abaci which is the plural of abacus. I collect them. My dad bought me a little in gold as a necklace, but I breaking the chain. I have been working in the math world all my life so it seemed appropriate.

That should read: A little ONE in gold. Some mathematician -- I left out the only number in the entire message.

XY: Another correction -- I KEEP breaking the chain. I'm going to bed to keep from making any more errors.

Now isn't that a wonderful image - I just love it.

Why do owls never go courting in the rain???
Because it's too wet to woo!

What do you call an owl with a sore throat?
A bird that doesn't give a hoot!

What do you call an owl that does boxing?
Muhammad OWLEE!

Sorry folks, Christmas is over :))))

Good night and God bless. Hugs.
