An update on my friends. The leg is still healing well and if she tests negative for COVID my friend will be able to transfer his wife to a very fine but less expensive facility (ie from a rehab that currently has several COVID cases to a very fine nursing home near him). Please pray they are able to make the change.

Hopefully things will go right for your friends. God bless. I am doing OK now. Still have to wear a brace at least part of the day. However, THINGS WILL GET BETTER!

Just to et you know my friend has his wife in the other facility and things are definitely improving. She has to do a 2 week quarantine. There were more cases of COVID in her former facility than in this one but on L.I. there doesn't seem to be a completely COVID-free place.

I'm doing well. Still use the walker, but not as much. However, I am still very careful! I go to the surgeon on the 21st so hopefully he will tell me some good news. Still can't bend which limits what I can do. Glad your friend has his wife in a different facility and things will get better for both of them.
