Lots of orange decor around. Orange lights are becoming popular in our town. I put them up for Fall and they stay until after Thanksgiving when I change to Christmas colors. I'm also working on an orange over skirt. I've had the material for years but couldn't figure out how to use it. An idea finally came to me a week ago.
Wishing you all a day of inspiration.

I like the orange lights for Fall/Thanksgiving, as well. It's too bad that so many rush to put up the Christmas decorations and seem to squeeze out Thanksgiving. Used to be you could at least rely on the grocery stores to keep their their autumn stuff up until after Thanksgiving, but now it gets overwhelmed by Christmas just like the other stores.

WalMart already had some Christmas in before Halloween.
The department stores are always bemoaning how the internet has been stealing business. If the stores went back to the beautiful holiday decorations and windows they did in the 40's-60's they might entice folks back. I used to do window display and believe me it drew in customers. people travel into NYC just to shop Fifth Ave because of their displays.

It was. Actually the only job I ever had that I really liked. But it was strenuous--lots of hauling and lifting. The girl who replaced me kept getting hurt so they let her go. The fellow who replaced her didn't follow my instructions and collapsed in the window. He didn't work them in the right order and had too much to do so the heat from the lights got him. He was kept and eventually became a display mgr at a larger store. I went on to get a BA and never got a good job after that.

Good morning everyone. Thank you for your encouraging words and great ideas on how to save my work. I had IT from school help me retrieve my paper but to no avail. He did help me set up my WordPro so it automatically saves my work every 5 minutes. I can also save it after each part of my paper is done. Thank you again for the prayers of encouragement.

Years ago I was able to recover photos I lost by downloading a free app from the web. (Sorry, don't remember the name of it). Did you try looking for one of those?

"I really believe that everyone has a talent, ability or skill that he can mine to support himself and to succeed in life." ~ Dean Koontz

"We are not so much limited by our abilities as by our vision. If we can see something worth achieving that aligns with our capabilities, then we can go for it. That may well involve heightening our ability - through education, practice and obtaining assistance - to the level our goal demands." Peter Shepherd

Good night and God bless. Hugs.

I never heard the Dean Koontz quote. I have long believed that each person seems to have a talent (innate) and a skill (learned). I don't know what an ability is that makes it different from the other two traits.
