Whoever did the image correction hyped the orange too much. It looks like molten lava instead of a reflection.
I hardly have any ocean paintings...I don't live close to one any more. If this COVID mess ever becomes a non-issue I think I'd like to rent near the ocean and do a few. I find the waves, beautiful, fascinating and terrifying. Whenever I have a dream about the ocean the waves keep getting bigger and bigger and a tsunami becomes a real threat. It is always so.
