Funny how you get used to one cut; I've been doing Crazy4Jigsaws since I started, and when I switched to the Classic cut it was harder--even with fewer pieces!

That's because you were using the shapes to solve more than the pictures. That's why I only do hex. The shapes of all pieces are the same so it forces me to only use the picture.

That must be it. Because I've done classic cut jigsaws since I was a rather small kid. The advantage of doing it online is that if you get interrupted before you're done, you don't have to gather it all up--and no bits sliding away under the furniture!

Orinoco, you woke up a funny memory for me...At our Boy Scout camp, the Camp Ranger and his wife lived in a ranch house at the entrance so they could check Troops in and out of the camp. The wife, Betty, always had 2 or 3 jigsaw puzzles set up on card tables in her living room. You could always find her working on them. Once, she helped check in our friend, Gary, and his Troop. A week later, when they were checking out, Gary went in to visit with Betty. He asked her how her puzzles were going. She told him that she had finished one, but she was very frustrated that it was missing one piece. She had combed the entire floor and couldn't find it. Gary walked over to the fireplace, reached up onto the hearth, behind a plant, and brought out a puzzle piece. "Could this be the one? "
Betty banned him from ever coming into her living room EVER AGAIN!!

That reminded me of when my brother use to do puzzles. I would always take a piece then later stand beside him and figured out where it belong, pretend to pick it up and put it in. I don't think he ever figured it out
