It's only a few minutes before midnight on Christmas day and I hope you all enjoyed a lovely Christmas. I want to wish each of you and the C4J team a wonderful 2018.
By now all the gift wrapping will be off and everyone enjoying their gifts. I had a lovely day with my sister. We had plenty to eat and mostly that which was good for us. Two exceptions a piece of pavlova and a slice of Christmas cake.

What is your Christmas cake like? I had a cousin live in Australia several years, and she got good at making pavlova. It is indeed wonderful. But is there a special Australian Christmas cake?

Coravee - my sister makes a Christmas cake with three ingredients, mixed fruit, chocolate milk, and self raising flour. It is delicious. Had some yesterday. Hugs.

Honeybeez - pavlova is the most decadent dessert made with egg whites (that's the crust) and filled with cream, mixed fruit and all other forbidden things for those of us who are diabetics. It melts in your mouth and was named after a ballerina - there is a dispute over where the recipe came from - we claim it as Aussies and so do the New Zealand people. However wherever it came from it is absolutely delicious and had one serving yesterday. Have't taken my sugar this morning, so not sure what it has done to that. Hugs.

Your Christmas cake sounds a little like our Dump Cake, which is usually a fruit with liquid and a cake mix, It sounds interesting with the chocolate milk, I might experiment with that sometime.
