I never used to like marigolds because of the smell and I don't care for yellow flowers but the varieties out now, especially these French ones, are very pretty.

I think it's the other way round. I've heard of calendulas being called pot marigolds. I've grown both although I could be wrong. Maybe they are interchangeable.
Nice puzzle to do. Just very breezy from the hurricane. About 4" of rain total. Now to put everything back in place. Have to put the atrium furniture back. One of my nieces is coming over sometime to help. Since one of my cats loves the atrium, I want to get it back to normal so she can be happy again in her special place.

I am glad all you got was rain. What a blessing. I am holding my breath as Dorian is supposed to hit South Carolina. My daughter and 3 grandkids live there, but fortunately they are just outside of Columbia and she feels that the only thing they will get is a little rain....I hope she's right!!
