I am in the worst pain right now from a tooth & have had the worst time the past few days getting any sleep. Called the dentist today to get a prescription called in for the pain as it was so bad I was about ready to go out of my mind & needed some relief till I got it pulled. All the old dentists are gone & they are all new ones now so even though they have seen me in august & have my records they wont call in a prescription till I see one of the new dentists. Told me to call my doctor & see if I can get it thru him. Called there & they don't have my records since he has switched to another town & told me to call the old clinic. Called it & they said they wont call anything in unless I see a new doctor there so I called the dental clinic back & they got me in for tomorrow morning just to see a new dentist & get something for the pain & will pull the tooth later. Couldn't believe the hassle as they have my records & x-rays & everything in front of them. Meanwhile I am trying to numb my tooth & have tried everything with minimal results. Cant use ibuprophen & only thing that helps somewhat is Tylenol with caffeine. This has been a very long day & I am miserable. Its not even an abcess either just a bad tooth. I am dreading tomorrow morning as I have a horrible fear of dentists but I am going as the pain is maddening!
Good luck to you tomorrow. I have had a lot of dental pain in my life so I know what you are going through. I have had both upper and lower dentures for almost 15 years now. It will take awhile but I know you will feel better after that nasty tooth is gone. Take care and try to get some rest.

Makes me realise how lucky we are, have excellent dentist and GP where I can get a same day appointment if urgent, the good old NHS gets knocked all the time but people here don't realise how lucky we really are

Ugh! I hear ya - I would have told the dentist my experience getting pain meds. I had to go to the doctor because I was in pain twice. First I thought I had a bladder infection and on pain meds. Go in and told nope - turns out I did have an infection. The front desk staff would let me see the doctor. Hubby even told her she's in alot of pain. They reply go to the ER - I was thinking Geez it's not that serious. Then I had a skin infection and asked for pain and requested pain meds and told NO!

Georgous! Every time I see a maple tree I think of the one we had in our back yard in Massachusetts. We planted it and it was about 55 years old before the newest owners had to cut it down. Very sad for me. However, when I go there I always stop and see them.
Love the fall colors. We have tamarack trees that have needles that turn in the fall and what a sight in the fall with the bright orange colors of their needles against the green of the pines and fir and others in the hills. Beautiful!
Most leaves are brown and on the ground here. The ones in the picture are from a maple that stays greener near the main trunks and turns color towards the ends of each branch. I love seeing them.
We are due for rain/snow mix tomorrow. Hope the really bad stuff skips Buffalo area. Those folks deserve a break.

Yes it is for New Hampshire...I wish they had profiles on here..like what country state etc. just got off the phone with my plow guy..expecting snow tomorrow....did you get hit with that big storm last week in NY?

Luckily I'm on the eastern side so we missed it (or it missed us actually. Nobody misses getting that much snow. lol) We are due for some messy weather today. Gotta have our turn I guess.

And we are getting it. At suppertime they measured 7 inches and it stopped around 8 but it's going strong again. I hope it doesn't knock the power out.
