Such beautiful plummage. God outdid himself when he colored the macaws.
People go crazy getting tattoos to add some color to their skin but no amount of tattooing could match the feathers on these birds.
And the tattoos will fade over time, but the feathers will be colorful forever.

Wouldn't it be fun if we could grow plummage? Ostrich plumes instead of hair on our heads for instance? Of course in the 1800's women wore hats with lots of feathers but they killed the birds to get them. Since birds moult their feathers every years it would have made more sense to keep them in huge areas where they could breed and be relatively happy and just collect whatever feathers fell on the groung each day.
Diod you knoe ducks moult all their feathers at once and for 2 weeks can't fly and that's where we get the term "sitting duck" from?
