A good mystery today was fun to do

Did this as a mystery, too! Fun and colorful!

Good school lunch.

THIS ONE LOOKS A TASTY sandwich but let us hope whom ever is eating it, keeps a eye on the paper clips, one soon gets carried away when taking and eating.

That was my first thought when I saw them so close to the sandwich!

Looks good!

Looks really delicious! Not time to eat. Time to go work for a while, then time for dinner!

OK it I'm hungry for a toasted sandwich, and I'm on it!

Such a healthy looking lunch and I have always found it tastes so much better when someone else makes it :)

I've learned....
That the less time I have to work with, the more things I get done
Andy Rooney.

Have to go to see a specialist on 21 Feb - my doctor is talking hysterectomy and I said, what if I meet someone else and want to have a baby - I shouldn't say things like that to my 88 year old doctor, might be responsible for his demise. I think he is still laughing.

God bless you all, lovely to be back. Hugs.

Glad you still kept your sense of humour with your doctor. If they do surgery, please make sure they don't remove the humour.

Good to see you, AS! We've missed you. Hope all is well.

How come a sammich in a Bento box or a plastic container like this always looks so much yummier than the ones I carried in waxed paper/plastic bags?

Good morning all! Yummy looking sandwich of course it does taste better if someone else makes it as Aussie said. So glad to see posts from both you Aussie and ParsonWayne was begining to worry about you both. It's been raining here, the temperature is just above freezing so we have such a mess, water with no place to go because the ground is still frozen. We had a small mountain lion go through our yard a couple days ago, it must have frightened our cats they took off for 2 days, was so worried. They finally came home and were so hungry, but ok. I guess I've said enough for today except everyone stay safe.

Aussie, do you have cancer? My mom had a hysterectomy but she didn't have cancer. I'm not sure why she had to have it tho.
No advice for this one. Hope you can make the right choice about the operation if it isn't the big C.

You're about things tasting better when someone else makes it.
That's funny too about your doctor. I hope everything works out for you. I just had one last summer. I know doctors that I've had tried to let me wait as long as possible in case I wanted to have kids but I've never met anyone that I've gotten deep enough with to even consider having kids with. Plus, my problems were just getting too much to bear and the treatments for them were only temporary. I wish I would have went ahead and had this done years ago because I feel much better than having to suffer with recurring fibroid tumors.

Oops! I typed so fast that I left out some words. That should be "You're right about things tasting better...."

Aussie-if you do get a hysterectomy, please avoid the "morcellating" techinique (google it) There is a lot of evidence that it creates more damage and makes women sicker.

Absolutely right, xyxyxyxx. It's essentially a roto-rooter that drills out the tissue, sending cells into surrounding areas to cause problems later.
Feb 10, 2017
Keep us updated my Dear. I will be praying for you. Glad you have your sense of humor. I had mine done when I was in my 30's a few years after my youngest son's birth. I wish I could have had more kids but, what Jake put me through after having an 11 pound 11 oz. kid, I quit. Hubby kept teasing me about going for a 12 pounder.I told him only if he had it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Orinoco - I had to look up bento box. I had never heard of that, but it looks like a pretty good design for meals.
Feb 10, 2017
Knadine, forgot to mention I am 76, that is what caught the doctor off guard lololol. And no, it is not cancer, just a few fibroids making a nuisance of themselves. Had them since my daughter was born and she is 43 now. Thank you all for caring, it means a lot to me. You made me giggle PW. God bless you all. Loving hugs.
Feb 11, 2017
Aussie, that is strange that you are still having problems with fibroids, doctors claim that they stop being a problem after menopause. Well, now I'm definitely glad that I had the surgery instead of waiting until menopause which would have been another almost 10 yrs. God Bless and hugs to you too.
Feb 11, 2017
Aussie, have you heard from your daughter lately? Hope everything is right with you. -:)
Feb 11, 2017
No word from my daughter, but put a message on her husband's face book page which he passed on to her. But no word yet. Maybe it is for the best with computer problems etc, as I don't need any more lol. Hugs.
Feb 12, 2017
Aussie, I hope your surgery goes well. PW, you make me laugh with puns and play on words, it makes me feel better about things. Stay healthy and young Aussie. I love your posts and quotes. Hugs and blessings :)

Olamae61, my poor wife has had to endure my "humour" for 40 years [counting the days were were courting]. But she has found out it is more blessed to give than to receive, so she gives it back every time I send some her way. I put the word humour in quotes, because that is what she would have done. One time 10 years ago we had a monthly newsletter for the 2 churches I was serving and we always put the birthdays and anniversaries for the coming month in them. One lady passed away after the newsletter had been printed and distributed. One the Sunday after her funeral, I said that if anyone was going to send Gladys a birthday card, they would have to send it by airmail since she had already gone to her eternal reward. My wife [known here as Mrs. PW, slid down in the pew and said "I don't even KNOW that preacher. Everyone around her heard her and laughed.

That is too funny as that poor lady who passed is my name. But I am still here. My pastor's wife loves giving back to her husband also. He was so sick with a cold and acts like most men do, big babies, my hubby included. pastor Justin had a hard time eating and she was treating him like the baby he is and wanted to know if he wanted a puddy cup to make him feel better. Picture a wife asking her poor hubby if he wanted a puddy (pudding) cup to make you feel better. That got everyone laughing. That poor guy was so embarrassed he turned all shades of red.We all need a sense of humor to get through this crazy world.
