These look OK, but I hate lick-rish even if you spell it correctly! I've eaten lots of the red ones, but never the other colors. They are not on my "to try" list. There is plenty of other delicious stuff to keep me happy.

I like licorice - sometimes too much. Years ago, when I was in Amsterdam for a few days, I found a candy shop that seemed to only serve black licorice - they had it in probably over 100 different forms. Since my dad loved black licorice, I bought a kilogram (about 2.2. pounds) of black licorice for him.

The black is still around we went to a place in the country yesterday and there is a quaint little shop who sell all different kinds of liquorice, never seen such a huge variety has this shop has and will give you a taste of there goodies, they have one salted and must admit it was quite delicious, the place was Grassington and the shop was Farreres, whom also have a shop in Harrogate so if you are ever in Yorkshire would highly recommend a visit.

Going again Wednesday, when we purchased sweets at the old fashion shop and got home we opened the bag with the goodies in and low and behold there was some keys in, not ours so rang the shop and yes they had been looking all over for them the husband had picked up the sweets and not releasing had put the keys in also, a good excuse for a day out for us.
