Beautiful painting! Slept most of today. Couldn't get to sleep last night at all. All I did today was go grocery shopping this morning. Tomorrow hopefully will be a much better day for me.
My father did beautiful watercolors. He only started painting in his 40's when my mother signed him up for a class. I cherish the ones I have and enjoy seeing others on my sisters' walls. Now it looks like my granddaughter may have inherited his talent.
My late father-in-law did beautiful paintings and pencil drawings as well as calligraphy. He did a pencil drawing of my late husband's mom as well as him when he was just a kid. I miss his artwork, especially on holidays ad birthdays. He would draw pictures of cartoons or draw caricatures of the person he is sending them to instead of buying cards. I still have a few of his cards he drew for my birthday and Christmas as well as my husband's. These are cherished memories I have of him.
