WOW, best time ever in USA I think :) - beautiful animals, beats me how anyone can hunt them just for sport.

"Every morning in Africa, an antelope wakes up. It knows it must outrun the fastest lion, or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest antelope, or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're the lion or an antelope – when the sun comes up, you'd better be running." – African Proverb

Just as well I don't have to rely on running lol. God bless all of you and hugs all around.

Love your quote, aussie. Do you have a photographic memory that you can call to mind something new every day?

Thanks ginny, one second woohoo lol. I try to keep pace with abacii - we sort of have a friendly rivalry going and I enjoy that. I do 48 USA cut because I wanted to learn the different states - my husband is from there and I lived over there for eight years. So far the only new one I have learned is Nevada lol, apart from Louisiana, Texas, California, Florida and Arkansas which I learned while living there. One day.....;)

Fifty states, that's a lot to learn. I've lived here all my life, was taught U.S. history and geography in school and I'm not sure I could put all the states where they belong on a map! Talk to me about one and I know it belongs to us, but not exactly where. Good luck aussie.

It was a hard puzzle. The picture is beautiful. Anything with animals make for nice puzzles. Thank you C4J.

Harder than I expected. All those legs going every which way! Lovely antelope. I just hope we stop killing off all the beautiful creatures God has given us. We have found use for so few and neglected so many.
There must be a way to leave them wild yet get money out of them besides safaris. Look how we love our dogs, cats and horses and our camels, sheep and cows and goats. Tho the goats are herded they mostly run free. There must be some in between state that we can find so we have the impetus to take care of God's lovely creatures.
God bless you all today and always.

I agree pixi, there should be a way. Nature preserves are a start but not enough. If we created as many as would be needed to preserve all God's creatures, there would be no room for us! Still...

Uh Oh. That means we are unnatural? (lol) I told my husband something I would do if I won one of those obscene jackpots (never will cause I don't buy tickets but I can't help wondering what good I could do with the dough)I'd find a spot that could support a rain forest in this country and buy up the rain forest acreage in another country and transport it. It would probably be the world's smallest but if it could be done.....
