This one was so colorful and a boatload of fun! My PC froze on me 1/4 of the way, so I had to start over. What a pain!

Another great jigsaw and what a good one you have given us today, makes one feel as though you could jump into one of the canoes and try one's hand at having a go in one of the kayak (if only we could maneuver one) must admit with the weather we are getting at the moment I would find it very refreshing, it is a bit to clammy over here for me. But then with these jigsaws you give us one can use our imagination and just picture oneself out at sea. Thank you team for this one.(It is surprising where one can travel with there Imagination)

West Yorkshire England. They have just finished the tour De France, and there was a great turn out for them all, and the weather could not have been better, nice to have such good weather for our visitors.
Tomorrow we go to the theatre to see Buddy Holly
we are looking forward to it, great music. Nice to know you read these notes, you also must tell me what neck of the woods you come from, I think it is great one can talk to people far and wide and learn what different things people like, and how people take time out to care about other people.
Have a super day and hope this hot weather stays and you also get your share of it. L O L Santa.
God Bless.

Hi Santa,
Growing up I had a next door neighbor named Santa. She was of Italian decent. I doubt if your given name is Santa.
I am from Michigan in the USA. I have lived here all of my life. I was born and raised in Detroit until I was 18 when my family and I moved about 20 miles to the north. I have been here ever since. I too think that it is great that we puzzlers can "talk" to so many people far and wide. I enjoy hearing of the weather in different areas and also the local customs and interests of everyone.
How was the Buddy Holly tribute? I also enjoy his music. I haven't been to a concert in a long time. Sure miss the good old days and the good music.

Hope to hear from you again soon.

The show was good and they got a good turnout, which was nice to see, they even had the big bopper on and the audience was bopping in the isles, loved it it was nice to see them jigging around, brings back great memories.
Yesterday we had a day out in Harrogate and it was packed with people, there are lots of nice gardens and there were lots of people having, picnics, it is surprising how the sun bring out the best in people.
What do you do with your daYS OFF?
lOTS OF LOVE sANTA.

Yesterday we went out to the country a place called Linton and we went down to the river there were lots of people with there family and pets, it waas very comical to see some people crossing the stepping stones, as half way over one young lady was on her hands and knees trying to cross when a young boy of of 5 went to help her, the beauty of it the river was very low she would have been better paddling, yes coming back the little boy held her hand so she was able to walk with the hero of the day.

How's it going....enjoyed both today, love the colorful ones.
Had a good but hetic weekend, enjoying the quiet house this afternoon! The grandkids that were in and out over the long weekend start at 12 and go upward, so they were very busy. Hot here today 96 with heat index 100, very muggy too.

Hi CatLadyOKC, Glad your weekend went well. Nothing like peace and quiet after a Holiday of fun with family. Ours was a quiet one. Weather here has been rain showers on and off with sun following. Humid as well. Mostly in mid 80's feeling like mid 90's with the humidity. Did our usual 4th hamburgers/hotdog thing. LOL Back to healthier foods today. Have a nice evening. :)

Glad to hear you had a good one too. Still hot here, heat is still 91 at 8pm here. It is going to go up to the 100's and over in the next few days so will stay inside as much as I can. No rain, but the humidity is up, they are having showers south of us and we could get some overnite (slight chance). Need to clean house tomorrow & the next day, and try to get to store to replenish our food supply.

The weather was so cold and snowy during the winter. Now hot and rainy. Makes me wonder what our Fall will be like. We need the rain, the sun usually follows. BUT doesn't need to be so hot. Seems like we spend more time indoors these days than outside. Not fair! :)

Yes, I feel that way too. Rained from about 4 am till almost noon here this morning lots of lightening and thunder, but we got at about 2+" here. It is cooler 78 now but the humidty is terrible.

Had bad storm yesterday that took down trees, blew out windows and knocked out power. No tornado they say! ??????????

I saw that on the weather channel last evening, the ones here just 60-80 mi. straight line winds and large hail and lots of rain, but most of that was south & east of us last evening for once we just got lots of rain, they had flash flood warnings here in the city and lots of lightening, we had 2 house struck with it both were burnt, but the people got out. One of the houses was a mansion 9, 500 sq feet, both were on the other side (north) OKC, we are to the south, not as bad here. They had 6 fire stations on it. We had rain both morning and late evening, about to catch up with our shortage of average rainfall here.

PS. Our local weather people were questioning that call from what they were seeing back there of the damage.

I agree with them. Seems like it was so much worse than they say it was. It was very frightening!
CatLadyOKC
Jul 10, 2014
Did you have any damage...etc...?
hockeyfan
Jul 11, 2014
We didn't thank goodness. The City south of us about 12 miles had it really bad. They are calling it a "derecho". We had one of those about 10 years ago. They do a lot of damage.

Good to know, glad to hear you are okay. We get some of those here, too but not often. The heat is back again, just for a few days, look like next week will be stormy most of the week, but the temps are to be below our normals for this time of year. The last couple of years it has been in the 100's part of June and most of July, August almost all, and part of Sept. Our electric bill last month was about 1/2 of last years on usage.

Jul 12, 2014
Great on your electric bill! We are to get down in mid 70's middle of week. I can't wait. I'm ready for a long walk.
CatLadyOKC
Jul 13, 2014
WELL HERE GOES THE ELECTRIC BILL!
It's forecast to hit 100 or above here today, but it is the first time this year (very unusual) and then it it suppose to go down for the rest of the week with hi's in the 70's & lows in the 60's. Should set some records for low temps this year. Will be glad to see that, we are also suppose to get rain most of the week which is unusual for this time of year here.
