I've seen many different pictures of them. They are very popular over there. Have a great day jas6415.

Very calming and peaceful!
You deserve good things! Tiy are blessed with strength! Within you is a wellspring of love, hope and faith that gives you courage to spare. Enough to share, and enough to see you and yours through and beyond any difficulty. Yes, you may be facing challenges. But you are absolutely more powerful than they are!
Have a great day!

It's in the 60's lows the morning but it will in the high 70's, no rain here.

"A kitten is so flexible that she is double: the hind parts are equivalent to another kitten which the forepart. She does not discover that her tail belongs to her until you tread upon it. - Henry David Thoreau"

Have a Great Day & Evening to all!

Such a peaceful scene. My second husband was stationed in South Korea one time. It left him with 2 things. A great love for the Korean People and a fondness for oriental art and architecture. We both had that in common. My favorite teacher in Grade School was a missionary on sabbatical from Japan. She introduced the class to the Japanese culture, which I gobbled up! I would love to travel some day to visit the country and take in the sights, someday. She also gave a great love for reading.

Here is a youtube address that takes you on a short but beautiful trip to this gate and its shrine. https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=C9aM35662YE
The puzzle photo was taken at high tide. At low tide you can walk out to the gate.

I love the colors. If it is sunset the colors could intensify. If it's sunrise they will bleach away. I'm rooting for sunset and seeing the moon and stars and lights come on over the water.
Think I'll see if anything liek that is on youtube.
Have a picturesque day.
