Looks rather hobbitish, doesn't it?
Vicente has been diagnosed with lymphoma and starts chemo in 2-3 weeks. What effect this will have on our tiny congregation I cannot tell you, but it doesn't sound good. Oh dear. Usually only 4-5 at the service on Sunday, and all over 50.
Positive bits: the baby is meant to go home sometime this week.
I could do with a hug. And a few milligrammes of prayer.
Might I suggest your congregation hold a prayer vigil and seek God on what He wants for you little church. I am sure He has a plan.

Many people are surviving different forms of cancer for much longer periods of time than they were even just a decade ago. A lot of new therapies are being created, cells being modified to attack the cancer cells, the amount of radiation used has been greatly reduced, new medications have shown amazing results. Former American President Jimmy Carter was diagnosed with brain cancer not too long ago and after taking a new medication, is back to being more active in his early 90's than I am in my mid 50's.

Thank you all, I'll tell them about your daughter Pauline. We are having vigils instead of preaching Sundays, now. Jesus is on the job, I know.

Sending lots of hugs and prayers. The Dana Farber Hospital has the cutting edge on cancer, and so don't other hospitals.

Prayers for you and your pastor and of thanksgiving that the baby is coming home. Asking God to send His Holy Spirit power of healing to you all.
