Hot apple cider brings back memories of the German Club and gatherings of the Folklore Society at the Albatross in East Lansing, Michigan, when I was attending college. The drink always hit the spot.
One of my favorites of autumn are apples, apple cider, apple pie, apple crisp, mmm I love apples. Honey crisp are my favorite type of apples whats yours? :)
I love honey crisp and Gala. We have an apple tree but no one knows what it is but the apples make the best pies and applesauce. And crisps. I quit freezing and baking finally and just let the deer come get them--the tree seems to be a semi-dwarf so it is fun to watch the deer stand on their hind legs to get the fattest juiciest ones!!

I have been to the pain clinic and they have increased all the tablets that cause sleepiness, if anyone needs a zombie for their halloween party...here is one that does not have to try and act.

Barbaranne-- I, too, have been to a "pain specialist". He gave me an Rx for pills that I think maybe I've ended up being sort of addicted to them. He has sold his practice and moved out of town. Now what? Be careful with your "sleepiness" meds! I am in the process of weaning myself off them. Wish me luck, but I'm getting there.
