Have been in hot hair balloons 3 times. Lots of fun but couldn't do it now. Body wouldn't cooperate to get into the basket!

It amuses me that we were all talking about fear of heights just a couple of days ago and here we have this beautiful puzzle sure to strike terror into the hearts of us acrophobics! Sense of humor C4 staff?

I used to live in Albuquerque. & When they had the October balloon fest, we could see hundreds of balloons like the one in this pic. They came so close to our place, that we could actually talk to the people inside the canister.

I used to live in NV where the hot air balloons would go over my place. It was awesome! Love all the different colors and shapes. Think I would like to go up in one someday. Have to put it on my bucket list! Lol

I've been to the balloon festival in Albuquerque, NM and it was wonderful. There was a group of us, got up early to see them off...then went back to bed lol The burn off when it got dark was so eerie but awesome to see as they timed it just so. The colours, something to see! I'd love to go up in a balloon someday...if that'll ever happen :) Lovely mystery puzzle, thank you!

Taffi, if you were were they start lunching the balloons in Albuquerque, then I know where you were. I lived a little bet higher up passed the Colorado river, then passed the freeway, in the east, closer to the Sandia mountains. Our view of the Balloons going up was amazing, as they were getting closer to our place, because compared to the rest of the city, we were relatively close, in that north area of the city.

Around this time I get so anxious for spring I can hardly stand it. I think it's the January thaw that does it. Planting seeds for next summer's garden always helps. I love seeing them sprout.

You are lucky, we had lots of snow for which I love but then we had cold winds and that brought the black ice for which I am not to keen on, alright if you are young or if one was made of rubber. But let's hope it is has you say, Spring is on it's way. Then we can see those little lambs in the fields.
Hope you have a warm fire to keep you warm and a crumpet on your toasting fork and a nice mug of tea. Enjoy.

Hi danast, i was born in Scotland (1944) at Rothsay bay, long story but 2of my 10 siblings was also born there before me//When I was 4 months old we went back to England and I was brought up there, but was lucky on one of my visits home one of my brothers took me to Rothsay and showed me around as he was old enough to remember were we lived and the magic of seeing the 200yr old building where I was born.

I'm with you there. I haven't figured out a good method when there's a span of flat color. You can get a general change in shading but after that it's eeny meany.
