Even ridiculously expensive cars that are built these days do not have such intricate design features.

Well, I wasn't on the computer at all yesterday because I spent 4 hours in the emergency room! I started limping last week because my left knee hurt. I figured it was some complication from me falling on the cement garage floor on the outside part of my left knee last November, and my left knee has given my fits, often on since I was in high school. My left knee cap will slide out of place to the outside part of my knee joint. Talk about pain!! So, anyway, that's the history of "The Left Knee". So when I get aches and pains in it, I hobble for a few days and it works its way out. I was going to take the dog for a walk two days ago, turned and blinding total pain from the knee. Fortunately, my husband had a walker in the house, and got it for me and I used that for the rest of the day. We decided we would wait for the next day and if it wasn't better we would go to the emergency room since I couldn't get an appointment with my doctor for a month! Woke up yesterday and we went to the emergency room. They x-rayed and couldn't find any bones out of place and I have an appointment with an orthopedic specialist next Thursday. The doctor in the emergency room thinks that my knee cap went out and then right back in.......joy. I'm still using the walker and thank God we have one. They gave me pain pills that I am taking half of what they recommended. The pills scare me because they are an opioid, hydrocodone (excuse spelling). I'm sure there's an MRI in my future! Please say prayers that they can figure out what is going on. Blessings to all of you beautiful people!

Wow, I can't imagine what you've been through. Hoping the ER physician is right in that it slipped out and back in right away causing pain but nothing to find awry. Just got out of hospital myself and now on oxygen. Still doing the breathing treatments, too, but they're almost finished. They (hospitals) sure get rid of you as soon as they can. They wanted me to go into skilled nursing facility for a few days, but I chose to come home instead. Long story but not time -- it's just that I can control my Type I diabetes better than a doctor out of the blue. Take care nborchardt. Let us know what orthopedist says.

There may be something called Left-Knee Syndrome! Mime is swelling and causing considerable discomfort. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

A very old car - I am sure someone on here can put a name to it.

My husband would know this car just by the grill. He was really good with antique cars. And I love your friendship quotes as they remind me of how precious my friends are to me whether near or far.

Good morning to all my fellow puzzlers. Excellent quotes this morning Aussie, don't know which I like better. Thought the weather had turned, but apparently I was wrong. Right back to cold and rainy. Was going to ask hubby what type of car this was but he has gone back to sleep. Nothing to make me laugh this morning so I didn't wake him, bet he was happy lol! You all take care and try to stay safe.

Nborchardt, I could just rip it off tonight, but don't think I can do without it lol. The doctor has given me some pain killers which are said to be addictive, so don't like to take them too much. But I am back on my ginger drink and it usually starts to take effect after the 4th day, today is my 3rd day. I stopped making it as the ginger got too expensive and the other day I was in Woolworths and it was $19.00 a kg, the day after, when I bought it, it had gone up to $30.00 per kg grrrrr. The lady from Anglicare came yesterday and she goes to a big market not far from here only open on Sunday and she said she got a big bunch for $4.00 and is going there this weekend and will get some for me. Take care and loving hugs.

Darambo, we are having lots of showers but the garden really needs it. I have planted a pawpaw tree (papaya over there), some cherry tomatoes, a gardenia and some marigolds to ward off bugs and they are all doing well. Have some bromeliads and a couple of Aussie natives (Leptospermum) to plant but will have to get some help with them. Glad you didn't wake Ed up lol. Hugs.

I am traveling to Nashville, TN tomorrow for the open house on the international Suicide Wall where the names of our sons and daughters will be read. Each one has a plaque with their picture as well as the date they were born and died along with where they are from and my son also has one. I am hoping this will give me closure for my son. I won't be back until Sunday. I pray for each one of you that God blesses each of you with lots of love and good health. Love you my friends and please pray that I make it safely to my destination and back again.

Do travel safely, dear mamag15, and find comfort in the company of those who have also lost loved ones to suicide. Our loving Lord is ever-forgiving, and He knows the darkness that caused their pain and inability to go on in in this vale of tears. Pray for their souls as they pray for their loved ones, and, if you can, give to a charity once in awhile in your son's beloved name. It will also help you to get closure.

Prayers for your journey and peace for your soul. We went to 2 memorial services put on by Vandy Children's Hospital for our son. Our Rosemary bush is very large, and I remember him everytime I pick some. These ceremonies and being with others with similar losses can be healing. Another powerful healing modality is a labyrinth walk.

Mamag I am so glad to hear this. Praying it will bring healing to you. I recently felt a big chunk of healing in a place I thought might bring a little bit.

Not easy. My hairdresser is coming to my house today to do my hair. I have some things to show her on the computer and can't do it on hers. Then we are going to lunch.
