Good morning all. What a nice colorful puzzle to start the day. Every now and then, it's nice to have a hard candy as a treat. My favorite are the orange/tangerine ones. Which flavor is your favorite?

Not big on hard candy, I'm a chocolate person. However, I try to avoid it as much as possible but every now and then I give in. If I picked one, it would be cherry.

I, too, would go for orange, but prefer chocolate. Especially milk chocolate!

Love the Carmel Coffee ones that I can get in sugar free! That is about the only hard candy I ever eat. Still like my dk choc. rasins the best. or a dk choc. carmel but can only have one of those, so hard to do!!!

I'm with you trynfindit. I love lemon drops. But I think my favorite candies are the fruit gel slices, especially the lime ones.

My favourites are the lemon sherbets which, living in Canada, can occasionally find. I love the burst of lemon which you hit when you get to the centre.

Hi all, Globug, you mentioned Butterscotch candy, oh my! I forgot about those. Was addicted to them as a child. Annie1749, Do love the fruit get slices, especially the thin long ones with either orange or raspberry fruit gel and....(drum roll, please)....They're covered in chocolate! :))))) What's not to love! :)))

Quality Street are a brand from the UK. They are wonderful. Now I've got me craving them lol. But will wait until this hot weather is gone. The chocolate goes to mush otherwise (if not in the fridge).
Anyone have a sweet tooth for this stuff? I bet it isn't universally recommended by dentists, however. Did Life Savers once have rum-flavored candy? Was it rum? Anyhow, I thought it was great whatever it was. It was sort of honey colored.
Starrphyre, it was called butter rum and my Dearly Beloved just loved it. I don't think they make it anymore, nor do they make my favorite, clove.

They still make the butter rum flavor, my favorite. Occasionally you can find it in stores, but you can order it online from places like Amazon.

It was called butter rum, and I agree it was great! They were my dad's favorite, he always had a pack in his pocket.When he died we made sure he had his pocketful of candy.

Here is a follow-up to the June 5 discussion on Butter Rum Lifesavers. Thanks to you, Puzzlers and Amazon, I am thoroughly enjoying some. My problem now is staying out of them! I want to eat them all at once. Ta Da!!!!
I'm not sure if I've even seen some of these hard candies before. The red and white disc-shaped candy with a red center and stripes going over the edges are peppermint, something that I'm not that big a fan of - I prefer wintergreen. I do like the occasional Life Saver.
I'm not a big fan of hard candies - many of them seem to taste the same.
