I'm not a hairdresser, but I do think that these dyes are base colors only. They are mixed with hair colors, for example...to make a brown a chestnut tone, or a red more of a henna. Let's hear from some salon people out there to see if I'm on the right track!

Easy puzzle. In regarding hair color, I refuse to get a boys short hair cut and keep grey hair. I dye my hair med blond and have re-grown my hair. I like it long and messy.

I have been reading what others have said about the puzzle. I have to tell the truth, I cannot lie, but I had purple highlights in my hair and will again when the quarantine is over. I love the purple highlights and so does my husband and I always get compliments from other brave souls who have different colored highlights in their hair! It's a funny world and I enjoy it. Blessings to all of you and may your day be filled with blessings, love, hugs (even if they are only "virtual" ones), joy and laughter!!

I would do it even now (age 70) if they didn't have to bleach my dark brown hair to do it. Otherwise the colors just don't show up.

And may your day also be filled with blessings, love, hugs, joy and laughter, nborchardt!

I was just thinking...you know what I think would look nice---a rainbow--say five different color strands adjoining and fastened together so they make a streak.

Pixi, believe it or not, I had a patch of my hair dyed in rainbow colors! I had long, thick hair, and I wanted to try something wild before I turned totally silver! (I earned every one of my silver hairs...They're worth a lot to me! ) But I'm not wild and crazy enough to actually appear in public like that, so I had my hairdresser put it UNDER a thick layer of my natural hair. From the outside, you couldn't see the colors, but if I lifted my hair up or flipped it over my head, the rainbow was there in all its beautiful colors! I loved it! But, alas, it all came off when I cut my hair before my neck surgery. When my hair started growing out again the right side of my head was frizzy and so curly that I can't even get a comb through it! The left side is straight and scraggly. I look like a clown!

BTW Nborchardt, the purple was beautiful, but the red lasted the longest!

I, personally, think that would look fantastic, even on a mature 71 year old woman like myself! But I shudder to think of what the cost would be and I am not skilled, or patient enough to do it myself. But thanks for the idea, and who knows??!!

Joyce that's so sad. My hair has never been thick and peters out before reaching my waist. I have always envied anyone with thick, long hair. Can you get the right side straightened?
And, hey, nborchardt--price it out if you like it. Maybe it wouldn't be as costly as you think. But then I never use the beauty parlor so what do I know?

Nborchardt, If memory serves...I think I spent about $70 that time. I was working at the time, so it wasn't a big deal to splurge every once in a while. But if you go to a beauty school, the students can practice on you, and it's a lot cheaper.

Pixi, I was blessed with great hair in my "previous life." I never knew how good I had it until I lost it all. I've been told that having too many surgeries under general anesthetic can do strange things to your hair. (Don't ask me why! ) I had around 8 surgeries within 5 years, so they were right! Hairdressers tell me not to straighten the right side, but "scrunch" the left side so it matches the right. I'm beginning to get the hang of it but it still looks weird to me!

When I was 21, I was in a car accident which caused a blood clot on my brain. When I woke up in the hospital, my first question was, "What happened? " It was explained that I was in a car accident and what had happened in my brain. My roommate asked me, "How long was your hair? "!!! WAS?????? Anyway, they had to shave my head for the surgery. Everyone said that my hair would grow in thicker and it would be curly. Well that was BS! My hair grew in just a thin and straight as it was before being shaved. Not complaining, I survived and was able to graduate from college. When you go through something like that, it helps get your priorities in the right sequence. But, yes, weird things can happen to your hair with brain surgeries!! Blessings!

I knew a girl in grammar school who, because of that type of assumption, cut off her eyelashes. They didn't grow back thick but they did grow back long. I have thin wimpy ones but never felt sure about trying cutting them. After hearing about your hair experience I'm glad I didn't.

I do color my hair, but not with these wild colors. My hairdresser covers my gray with a medium brown color and also gives me golden highlights. I may be turning 80 in a few weeks, but still not ready for all over white. Would rather that color be the frosting on a chocolate cake. Ha Ha.

Pretty colors for a painting but not for walls. Too overpowering for 4 walls.

Really! Even in my adolescence in the late 60s and early 70s I would never have plastered my hair with such hues. It seems that the young of today want to be different, and therefor stand out.

Hair dye not for me anymore. Used to color it years ago but haven't for at least 25 years. Easy puzzle to do.

The older I get, the earlier it gets late. (sign at a restaurant.)

I stopped dying my hair when the grey almost fully took over. My hair grows so fast I was having to re-dye it too often.
I have a small box sign in my kitchen that says, "The older I get the better I was."

Love your saying! I still have some blond in my hair, but not much. However, everyone says they love the coloring of my hair. I tell them that is ME! I have done nothing!

That's like me, Elijah - my hair is pure white/silver and I get many comments (mostly good) on it. I tell folks that it's God's fault....

These 83-piece Circle puzzles are one of my FAVORITE challenging puzzles. The edges and pointed parts for inbetween make it so much FUN. Thank you, team!!!!!!!!
