Meant to post my good news, two lots today. The doctor has been trying to get my blood glucose level down to under 7 in the morning (I think you read it differently in North America), and I said it would never happen as I had never had such a low reading since I was diagnosed. Well first he changed my meds and that brought it down, but he was still not happy. Then he increased my insulin by four units and this morning my reading was 6.2 WOOHOO.

Then I had to have another scan of my neck as a result of the fall I had before Christmas and ended up with a thrombosis on both sides of my neck and a clot on the left side. ALL GONE!! another woohoo and praise the Lord.

Hugs.

Great news, aussie! So glad everything is going OK. Will be off-site until Friday, as I'm headed to Fairbanks and a round of client meetings on Monday. Richard is staying home and he seems to have beaten the ight case of the flu he picked up somewhere - probably at McDonald's! Be safe and happy, dear friend!

Goosey, Goosey Gander!
I love the talk of spring that Goosey inspired. March marks the beginning of spring. However sometimes Spring comes dressed as a snowman!

As a kid growing up I watched a lot of nature documentaries. I always thought they were called "Grey LEG geese" and wondered why...since their legs are pink!!

I thought so also, until I saw today's description, and I realized it was lag not leg! Something new every day, even when one is 77!

That seems to be a large goose, and a unique one. My mom grew up on a farm and was terrified of the geese. They used to chase her and bite her on the legs. She never like them when she grew up, either! Have a great day, everyone, and a multitude of blessings.
