Very interesting sheep. I wonder which variety--I don't know the sheep breeds at all.

Oh, that looks like a pet sheep I had once, a Cheviot-cross called Tonto - she was named after a book, "The Stranger From The Tonto", because she just arrived in the paddock one day from who-knows-where!!

My dad had to carry a blind one often to put her into a pen at night. Later he felt something crawling in his head and pulled it out. "What's that? " he asked his mother. She looked into his hair, and his head was full of ticks, so she had to wash his hair with Fels Knaptha soap (a kerosene-based soap).

Nice picture. Hey, did you guys miss me? I just got back on this week. I've been having computer problems. Sure missed talking to all of you. Now I find I have to get on a gluten free diet......Do any of you know anything about it, any food suggestions or help. I have had symptoms for the past ten years and just now finding out I have to take care of it. I had no idea this was what was causing my problem. I'd sure appreciate anything anyone can tell me or foods that are good etc. etc. I'll be waiting to hear from you. GOD bless each and everyone of you.

There is a lot of information available on the "net". I have a friend in Montana who has to eat gluten free also. One of her biggest problems is eating out. Some restaurants cook gluten free foods on the same grill as other foods, thus inserting gluten. Research before you eat out.
There are also more and more gluten free foods in the stores these days. Read labels. You will find them mixed in with the other products. Gluten free flour in the baking aisle, etc. Gluten free pastas, quick cooking foods, frozen foods, etc.May God guide you on this new path. And think of the exciting new foods you will get to try!

Logansport, check in your regular grocery for items labeled "gluten free". There are lots of them available now. A short visit with a nutritionist can help - easy to ask questions in person - and you can also google "gluten free diets" on the net. Good luck!

Good luck with that, Logansport. I think you substitute rice products for wheat. I love rice chez and the box says gluten free.

Rice chex and Rice Krispies. Plus there's the Quaker Mini Crispy rice snacks. Can you tell where I'm at, try to limit myself but I do eat a bit of stuff with gluten it. Then suffer afterward lol
