I came across the U.S. by train in 1967, Loved it --- the scenery from San Francisco to Chicago was spectacular. From Chicago to Boston --- not so much! --- but still enjoyable.
Have been on a train from East to West in Canada. Loved it. When my sister and I were small, my father would put my mother and us on the train in Chicago and we would travel to Boston, change trains for New Bedford to spend the summer at my grandparents cottage while our father stayed in Chicago and worked. I still remember those times vividly!

I think my husband will like that quote.
For myself I'm disappointed in the view. I don't feel I have the wisdom that I expected to acquire--i.e. the necessary overview. Glad Bergman did get it. I always liked her.
I would love to ride it
Hope you all have lots of great adventures in your lives.
