This puzzle is a great reminder of my Dad. He loved ties, although many of his were much wilder than the one in this picture. I still have a few of his ties. Also the shoes. Every Sunday Dad would polish his shoes. He taught me how to polish shoes properly and how to take care of fine leather shoes. Of course, people rarely wear leather shoes now and probably don't polish them. I still have Dad's shoe polish box, old, wood with the shoe rest on the top. But this puzzle brings back fond memories.
This looks a little more old fashioned to me and reminds me of my Dad. He's been gone for several years now and I miss him. Father-in-law is also gone and my husband and I never had children. I'll have to remember to call my brother and wish him a happy day.
