And I'd like to wish a special Mother's Day blessing to those moms who have lost a child - may God always give you warm and happy memories of the time you had with your loved ones.
I am also a retired teacher and spent 2 years as a high school principal. I loved working with the kids and do miss it, but not enough to be a substitute teacher! Have a blessed day, elijah13!

Elijah --- That makes me think of when one of my first graders would (without thinking) say something like "Mommy, I need a red crayon! " It just came naturally --- and I loved it.

I taught about 35 years and had mainly K and 1st graders. However, did also teach 3,, 4, and 5th graders.
