I have found a way to get rid of them and that is with polenta. Just put a bit on their nests, they eat it and cannot digest it and come to an untimely end lol. I have only tried it on a few of the many nests I have around my yard and it has worked. The problem was getting so bad I thought I would wake up one morning and my house would have been carried out to the middle of the street by them!!!!! LOL - hugs.
All we need now are for some giant ants for it to eat ;)

I love your second quote. Making a big life change for me was going back to school at the age of 60. I am so glad I made that leap of faith. It is something I will never regret. I just hope it all pays off in the end. Being a school teacher is on my bucket list.I only have 3 more years to go. UGH!!! LOL. have a wonderful day. :)

I lived and worked in Houston for 18 months a long time ago. Worked for the BP Laboratories which was on the outskirts of Houston, but I think it has been grown around now. Hugs.
The leg and claw makes it look almost like there is a different animal right there beside and below it, trying to get at the same ants. It was not until I had finished the picture and seen it larger that I was able to really figure it out.
