Fresh vegies....The only way to fly....My daughter had a nice garden this year...I have had an abundance of fresh vegies....Bought her a nice dehydrator an she is dehydrating all kinds of fruit also. I have never had pickled carrots but she found a recipe and is going to make some...I have fresh carrots to snack on every night. Better than junk foods,,

Read about those storms down South--hope ALL is well with your loved ones. Check out those vegetables-get planting-your veggies will grow quicker in OK than up here in RI!

We are fine...didn't even any big hail & we sit high so no flooding. I don't due storms well at all, more tonight...we actually live in Moore, Ok., we sit between the 2 F5's went thru Moore, the last one our granddaughter was at one of the schools that was hit, took us several hours later before we could fine her, but she was fine. We have been luck to be miss by them, but after hearing the roaring & feeling the house vibrate I'm a basket case when get storms. I also watch for lightening we had it hit under the Magnolia tree & it sets out away for the house, but it blew the meters off the house & had to replace lots of small appl. & TV's. It also blew out some of the neighbors windows out, so if there is lightening in the area I shut down my computer & unplug it. Don't think we are going to but a garden this year, need to do some work on our area, we use raised beds & they need some work. Gardens are tricky first we sometime have late freeze or frost & then it gets hot to quick and they don't like our 100 degree weather. Saying here " If you don't like the weather just wait awhile it will change"

That's funny, Cat Lady--they say the same thing about the weather up here. I was so worried about you when the news came on & we saw the films. So glad to hear your granddaughter & her school were okay. My last name is Moore--quite a coincidence! I'll never forget my first garden here. Got whole thing planted & then it snowed about 10 inches--now I stick to what the ole timers say-- don't plant until after Mother's Day.
I love it all
my mystery for today
