Sounds good to me...sleep thru the worst of the storms that went thru late last night. Got lots of lightening & thunder and lots of rain & wind.

I always wake up...and then I duck under the covers lol I am OK during the day, but lightening at night and the thunder...ugh! Of course, if I was really scared, I'd just go to the other room and wake up my husband!

I'm on the second floor & the way the house is make that makes my bed under where the house only has 3-4 ft. Also have had lightening hit the yard, left a hole in ground, blew meters off the house & had to replace TV's, microwave, and other appliances. So I usually go downstairs, where hubby sleeps (he has problems getting up the stairs). Also they had to but out 3 fires that lighten had hit and caught on fire. I'm just a chicken anymore....

I live in Canada and luckily we don't get many lightening hits. Unless someone is being an idiot, like sheltering under trees (on a golf course) and yes, it happened! I'm so glad that you were safe after that lightening hit that left a hole in the ground and destroyed so much.

Yeah - I had people over one year. Then I had someone over for dinner. The guest asked if I made the dishes. I told her yes. Then I had my dad over one year and made a Chocolate pie - not chocolate cream. I mentioned infront of my niece and she asked if she could have some. I told her to ask her mother. I bring over the pie and she and her friend ate the rest. I really wanted the pie - guess I'll have to make it again.

I would love to send some of our rain to all of you in Florida, but not like what we had last nite, flooding in some area, 3 houses fires from lightening hitting them, 70 mil winds, at large hail.
