Hi Aknan. My reply to you yesterday disappeared. I didn't make the soup yesterday but I'm cooking it now. I wish you could join me. I don't know how good it will be. I have to curtail which spices I use (garlic is one) because I have many digestive issues. I'll let you know how it tastes tomorrow. Perhaps yo will be saved an unpleasant gustatory experience!

Thanks, aknan. It was pretty good but my gut is reacting with reflux. There's always a lag between food that my gut doesn't like and when I eat it. My stomach likes just about everything but the rest...well it takes two or three days to reach the part that gives me grief. I had bad reflux twice so far today.
It's so nice to come on this site and have beautiful folks like you to visit with.

Pixipixil, I have prescription for acid reflux called Famotidine. Two tiny pills a day. Works great.

I take omeprezole. The doctor double the dose but I am convinced it isn't true reflux because the thing that helps most is drining bottled green tea and that has tannic acid in it so it has to be something else. The digestive tract alternates between acid and alkaline so I'm thinking it's the alkaline portion not the acid portion that's backing up.
A bit of Easter with Christmas here. Are those snowflakes sugar candy? You can have the cookies and jellybeans. I'll take the flakes.

This is the craziest Christmas I have ever celebrated in. Presents opened different places. Not all together except will be tomorrow for pictures and tomorrow night for restaurant dinner. One couple with children coming in tomorrow from San Diego because they wanted to celebrate at home.
