Gotta be real New York cheesecake for me- the real heavy kind!

Yep, yep, yep, yep. God's perfect food. I will eat the stuff they call cheesecake but nothing like the real thing. My favorite food in all the world, real and unadorned.
I used to have a recipe for a no-bake cheesecake that was really delicious. It's probably a really good thing that I don't have that recipe any more, because I can eat a lot of cheesecake.
Normally I would be salivating over this cheese cake, but after dinner I gorged myself on chocolate cake with whipped cream frosting. Aaargh...I need a Tums!
This cheesecake looks really yummy. I'll take cheesecake in any flavor, plain or with fruit. Always a great ending...especially with whipped cream on top. :) Have a happy 4th everybody.
One Christmas - we always do Christmas breakfast for our family - we had the usual Belgian waffles (with maple syrup or orange syrup or confectioner's sugar), smoked bacon, cheese grits, fruit salad, brownies, fruitcake, zucchini bread with brown sugar butter, etc. and for dessert we had cheescake with a choice of toppings: chocolate sauce, pie cherries, blueberries, strawberries, and loads of whipped cream.
