My dad has terminal cancer and not much time left. Im still trying to get my daughter back in rehab since since ran out of the other place. I desperately need prayers. It's so difficult going to work. I am very anxious and just want to cry. Please send positives and prayers my way. God Bless everyone on this site.

Dear leia, it is said that God never gives us more than we can handle, but I think sometimes He pushes the boundaries. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Loving hugs - your Aussie friend.

Leia, that is a very simple prayer I use when events overwhelm me and I don't know what to do. "God, I've tried my best, but I simply can't handle this all by myself, so I'm turning it all over to You. Your help wil be greatly appreciated." You know what - He always answers.

Thank you everyone for your loving words and prayers. My father was a lover of life and got the most out of it. He lived a good life. My daughter is struggling to live. I'm just taking a moment at a time. Each of you has something special inside of you and I have felt all the care and blessings from you. Thank you deeply.

Leia7, just reading this for the first time, and sending you heartfelt condolences. Even though it was over a year ago, I know it can still feel like it just happened...

Can you give us an update on your daughter, leia? I pray that it's encouraging news.

Currently she is in a 30 day inpatient program. She has had a lot of fines and tickets. She can't seem to stay clean; although she is much better than previously. Thank you for asking aknan. I will take any and all prayers. Bopitextreme, Thank you for your condolences. I miss him every day, as well as my mother who died in 2015. My Christmas wish was to spend just one more day with both of them. I knew that couldn't happen but that's how much I love and miss them. Thank you everyone for your care and concern. It does mean a lot to me :)

Delicious fruit and some sweet honey. Good enough to add to any full meal, or to have for just a snack.

Thanks JoyceRogers - right eye is almost normal but left eye has a long way to go as has the lump above it. I am being extra careful now as I was lucky not to have broken something like my toe or my little finger hahaha. Appreciate your prayers.

Have never had fruit with honey. Prefer it other ways. Dentist again today. Hopefully the last time with this one. Then to my other one next building for--hopefully just a crown!

What do chickens grow on? Egg plants! Have a good day. Hopefully I will also. Just need to use "positive" thinking!

Cute joke! I have to go and get my eyes dilated, I'm guessing, for a diabetic eye exam..joy. Thank God my husband doesn't mind driving! I have no idea what some of these fruits are named....ah, well, time marches on. Good luck with the dentist, elijah13!

Thru with "root canal" dentist. Now when my regular dentist gets the info, will have to make more appointments to get--hopefully just a crown. Still haven't found the "money tree". However, I know I am not alone! We are all looking for it--age doesn't help! Try to have a good day!

Elijah, I planted a penny in our backyard when we moved into this house, 20 years ago, but it never sprouted. Maybe I used the wrong fertilizer...

I join with the rest of you in dental woes. Last year, I had the posts put in for two implanted teeth, to the tune of around $6500. (Insurance helped a little.) They told me we could leave the crowns off until we could afford them. We intended to have the crowns put in before insurance expired, but the pandemic hit, so I've been home "kinda toothless" for six months because I couldn't leave the house! Finally, last week the dentist called and said it was safe to come in now, so I did. Got the crowns (they feel great! ), and was presented with a bill for $3500. Aaaaaahhhh!!! $10, 000 for two teeth!! They're nice teeth, but for heaven's sake! We're trying to save up to move into an assisted living home! Oh bother!! Come on, Money Tree!!!

Still praying for the money tree. My root canal cost me $1225.00. Heaven knows what the crown will cost! I am still in my house. Keep getting things about assisted living, but not quite yet! I am down-sizing things in my house that I know I won't need or won't use. That's a job also. Nothing is cheap anymore!

Well, this was an interesting puzzle and I have no idea what some of the fruits are; and it never occurred to me to mix honey with fruit. Daughter is coming over for dinner tonight and I am going to make apple crisp for dessert. It has literally been years since I made this...wish me luck!! Blessings and serenity for all of you this day.

You have figs (purple with the reddish interior - wonderful! ), yellow grapes - there's another name for them but it escapes me now - and walnuts. I would use the honey on the nuts, just a light drizzle, as walnuts can be a tad bitter.
