So amazing the way God clothes His creatures so that they survive this frigid land and the knowledge He gives them to survive.

Hi CatLadyOKC, a new week has started, and hopefully will be a great week for you. I'm hoping so. I, too, like seeing what I'm working, but it's something different for a change. :)

Morning to you & everyone else! Things are starting to slow down, semi annual reg. dr. appts tomorrow but I think that is all. Yesterday was a beautiful day 75 for the high, 40 this morning for the low with high in the upper 60's today so that is great. Weather looks pretty good for the next 9 days, more like out regular winter. We have wind 25-35 but that is normal for us, nicer when it is less. We are pretty well protected from it here at the house. Have been meaning to ask were you affected by the water pollution in your area?

Glad things are going better. No, we do not live near the chemical leak. Thank goodness. It's about 1 1/2 hours south of us and the water flows south from the Elk River. Feel bad for all those that are troubled by it. I'm ready for 75 degree weather! :)

Good evening to you. The sun has set and it's getting chilly here. Back to working puzzles again. Got my big heavy robe on and boot slippers trying to stay warm. LOL

Well it's suppose to get in the upper 50's could make 60, but also noticed that we may get more mixed precip. and temp 18 for Monday morning.
You can't get used to either...but I handle the warmer better but not the 113 we had this summer, it just took your breath away when you opened the door. I have a heavy (old) Garfield robe that I have been wearing.

Those big, plush, fuzzy robes are the best when cold. Have mine on again tonight. Feels cozy. Got up to52 today and sunny, but when the sun went down so did the temps. lol

What a delightful picture this one is this is Christmas to a tee, and I presume every one doing this one will be humming and singing Once in Royal David's City as it does bring us down to earth with job these farmers do, nice when the farmers get all there flock back to there own home ground.
Thank you team for our memories and hope you all had a super Christmas day, and got all your gifts in one piece, will give you are blessings for the New Year and hope you have the best one yet.

How right you are about this being Christmas. I don't know the song you refer to, but certainly there were shepherds keeping watch over their flocks. Great puzzle and staff you do a great job. Thank you!!!!

Not sure but I also think most of the puzzlers in at least the northern hemisphere can relate to these sheep, we all need warm coats...and winter has just barely started.

That's what I thought of too, when I saw the puzzle: the shepherds and their flocks.

Merry Christmas to all! (The Twelve Days of Christmas actually run from Christmas Day to Epiphany.)

Actually, I was thinking of In the Bleak Midwinter, especially the last verse:

What can I give Him, poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd, I would bring a lamb;
If I were a Wise Man, I would do my part;
Yet what I can I give him: give my heart.

This the song once in royal David's city
stood a lowly cattle shed, where a mother had a baby in a manager for it's bed,
with the meek and, ups memory gone, but you get the gist
