I heard of a man who stole a can of peaches. At his sentencing, the judge asked how many peaches were in the can. Six. "You are sentenced to six days in prison." The man's wife spoke up, "Your honor, my husband stole a can of peas, also! "

I like to eat frozen peas, especially in the heat of summer, here in Arizona. I've also learn to freeze grapes and have them for a refreshing snack.

My garden is always a work in progress - just seem to get one part tidied up and time to start again lol. But very rewarding to see things growing and a constant sense of wonder at the beautiful things God has created. Yesterday was our first day of summer and the weather last night predicted a very warm week ahead in the early to mid 30's (Celsius) 86 - 95 F, but the humidity is the killer. I live in the sub tropics and love it here. Hugs.

I was an odd child too, retirenow14! I liked and still do peas, carrots, and tomatoes! I think it is what makes us different is what makes us special!

Even as a small child, peas were my favorite vegetable and one of my favorite foods. Must be I was always destined to be different than a lot of other people. What kid prefers spinach, cauliflower, lima beans, and broccoli to almost any other food? What an appealing puzzle!

Hi all from a hot and sultry Johannesburg. Its been a while since I posted...just too busy with work. We've been having some lovely, much needed rain, so my world is green, fresh, hot and renewed. Love this time of the year...being a sun baby. Love peas too...cooked, raw, in salads, mushy with fish and chips. Yumm! God Bless all!
