Pretty

The firework displays are expensive, but the public ones are enjyed by a large number of people at once, so the cost is not as great per person. We in America have grown up with fireworks on this holiday, as well as others. If you see a little 3 or 4 year old viewing them for the first time, you will see their value. Hopefully parents will put cotton in the kids' ears beforehand.

We celebrate freedom, we celebrate the brave men and women that protects our beautiful country. One tradition that has not been wiped out that we still enjoy and look forward to. It's the same with folks that load down their credit cards with unnecessary spending any other time. God Bless America!

I disagree. I think money spent to remember and celebrate those who secured the freedoms we've enjoyed for more than 240 years is not a waste.

Very pretty but money could have been better spent for necessities.
