I don't mind fireworks as long as they are done safely. I really don't like hearing them in my neighborhood because I know they are amateurs. If it's dry I always worry about fire.
I am home today but got an invitation for lunch for tomorrow and that will be wonderful.

Happy 4th of July. This puzzle was a little tricky with the fireworks going in every direction. Sam and I set on the front porch and watched the fireworks for several blocks away. It was relaxing. For years we did them at the end of our driveway. Usually had family over. The people that do them around us spend some money every year. Nice not to spend a cent this year. We never went for the really high ones. Sure were pretty though.
Spent a quiet Glorious Fourth with nephew and family. Someone in the distant neighborhood was setting off firecrackers and the poor puppy was miserable.
Happy 4th of July to all US people. I'm not going anywhere, Will probably watch some on TV tonight. Will be preparing for ELSA. Will probably be here sometime Tuesday and into Wednesday. Cancelled vet appointment for Wednesday and scheduled it for next Monday. Have dentist appointment Thursday so will see. Have a great day and night.
