This was pretty hard because there aren't that many colors and since it was so dark I couldn't see the tiny spots. I liked the picture though.

Is that gadget on the lower right an astrolab? I love the design of old things. It always seems like much more thought and love went into making them.
I hope everything you make expresses the love you put into making it.

Not sure if that's what it is, but that's what I called it when I was putting the puzzle together.

It might be a sextant.

Sounds good. I don't know what either one does. Think I'll look them up.

The astrolabe is used to determine longitude. The sextant does angles on a plane. I tried images and none looked like the one in the puzzle. It could be either one as far as I could tell.

I did a google search of the image. Apparently it's a vintage "sundial compass". Do a search for that and you will find some that match this one closely.

Nice puzzle to do. Tabby has been to vet this morning for the last of the tests before her thyroid trip to sap it. My back is killing me, but had to get her into her cage and the work done.
Have a great day. I'm talking to my back and telling it to cooperate with me! HA HA

It's cold the morning in the 40's and afternoon in the low 50's.

I like these kind of puzzles because it is spread out and has a nice variety of colors. Took awhile though.

Not an easy puzzle to do color wise (very drab), but I saw the richness in the picture with the vintage articles shown. I especially loved the sundial.
