If you stare at it long enough you can see all sorts of things. Very interesting rock.

The "trunk" looks like a socket wrench tightening a bolt to me. There are so many faces in those rocks. I see a jowelly one just above the trunk and at the bottom tip of the trunk I see a face like the one on the iris in Alice in Wonderland On the right bottom corner I see an alien with a cat's face next to it. On the top bump I see a monkey.
Wishing you all the strength to face this day.

Ah. I believe we have another home improvement buff in our midst. Or are you good at cars? I decided not to learn those as I already had my hands full fixing everything else.

Amazing rock formation. So much interesting scenery in this world and we are privileged to see it through the eyes of C4J - thank you Kevin and staff.

"When nothing seems to help, I go look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it." Jacob Riis

And one of my poems written for a friend who did not know the Lord.

THE FERN

There were many ferns in the woods that day
But one really caught my eye
'Twas clinging to a bare, craggy rock
'Neath a dark and foreboding sky.

This tender little fern
Brought to mind a dear, sweet friend
Whose husband was as that rock
Frowning, stubborn - his will wouldn't bend.

We all sat back in smug self assurance
That her husband would never be won
His lack of interest in spiritual things
Made it impossible for him to know the Son.

But she went on quietly loving
As God always did with her
God knew her heart's desire
She just continued to care.

As I pondered on that tender fern
Which could be bruised by merely a touch
I hoped that my friends husband's attitude
Would not affect her too much.

But I knew deep within my heart
She and the fern were as one
Both getting strength from an unseen source
Hers from God's precious Son.

As I turned for one last look
It occurred to me with a shock
There was something I just had noticed
THE LITTLE FERN HAD CRACKED THAT ROCK!

If it is the one by Bethany Wright, just looked it up and it is beautiful. For a feistyolelady, you sure have a soft and beautiful heart. Hugs.

One of my better times!

I also see it as a giant mosquito getting ready to bite someone.

I think I prefer the elephant to the mosquito! At least I can hide from an elephant! nlb
