Interesting - I've been fairly close to the Dolomites, but, I don't think I was in the actual area.

Would love to be in the shadow of that beautiful mountain after the blistering heat of today, so unbearable.

"Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn." John Muir

"Every mountain top is within reach if you just keep climbing." Barry Finlay

Good night dear friends, take care and God bless. Hugs.

I just got asked to sing a funeral at the church where my son had his. Say a prayer I can do it. I need to be out doing something meaningful. Thanks. I hope this isn't a mistake.

Aussie, here's another quote - I look toward the mountains, from whence cometh the source of my strength and help. I know it's from a psalm, but I can't remember which one.

You can do it Pixi and thank you Aknan. Hugs.

Aknan, the Psalm you referred to it Psalm 121:"I&2 will lift my eyes to the mountains; From whence shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made the heavens and the earth.

Hi Aknan: I decided to look through the psalms to find this for you and when I opened my bible it opened rigth to that psalm. I have the Light of the World edition Bible which says the Psalm is 120 but also has a 121 in parentheses.
That is an especially comforting psalm and I am thankful I looked for you because I believe it was meant for me. Thank you.

Thank you for your vote of confidence, Aussie.

Thanks, cindyj and pixi. I knew it was an inaccurate quote and thanks for looking it up. I always say a prayer of thanks when I look up at our mountains. Glad the psalm helped you, pixi. May the new year be easier for you and bring your heart peace.

Thank you aknan. I am waiting on the Lord.
