My youngest daughter "won" a guinea pig when she was in 4th grade. She called is Beastie and put him in her Barbie car and pushed him around the living room.....ah, memories. Good to hear you're doing so well! Now...mind your Physical Therapist! My PT told me that if you don't "hate" your PT, he/she isn't doing their job right! Lol! There is no progress without pain! (But I still liked all my PTs anyway...they cared about me! )

My hubby and the therapist says I am doing well. I am walking short distances without the walker, so I am happy. I go to the doctor's next Monday to have the staples removed. Then it is really hard therapy!!! Thanks for asking, xyxyxyxx!

To bad you had to have that. Sorry you are in such pain. Sam has had several small operations on both knees. Carried sheet rock for a lot of years. He really needs knee replacements but he said he would be laid up to long and couldn't take care of us both. Don't know how long he can take it.

I feel for Sam. I know I am in pain now, but it will go away. I have physical therapy through June and only God knows if that will be all I will need.
Beautiful little animals! Very sociable creatures, but need to be kept with another Guinea Pig - though sometimes they don't get on too well when sharing a cage. Then again - a little bit like rabbits - they can get along TOO well ;-).
I always wanted a hamster but my mom would not let me. When my oldest boy was in junior high he wanted one so we got one. We also had a cat. My son didn't shut the cage door one day and I don't need to tell you the rest. Thank goodness I came home before him. No more hamsters.
I like them too. My brother had one. He named him Stanley B. Farquardt. He had a rat and a hamster too. But none of them could come out and play because of the cat. they are so cute though, and I love their little voices.
