Neat bird, I like the design of his feathers. I wonder how long that beak really is.

That beak must be at times an inconvience. I understand he needs it to get his food from the mud, but think about flying with that thing. I am sure it is difficult.

Long-billed curlew (Numenius americanus)
From what I found out about them, you may have some during part of the year in your area, but the breeding area is in Goose Island State Park, Texas.

Enjoyed the jigsaw, and the bird also, in a way it reminds me of, Red ridding hood when she was saying what big teeth you have, well could imagine a worm or any insect coming out with this saying.
