Beautiful sea lion. I'm behind but I don't do all the puzzles. I thought it would be a little hard so just kept in saved. It wasn't as hard as I thought but I didn't go crazy with pieces this time. Wonder what he is thinking.
I have met one underwater at Cabo San Lucas. We were doing the undersea walk - wearing helmets that provided us with oxygen - and this HUGE young sea lion was curious about all my rings. He ran his nose over one hand, then up that arm and down the other, touching me with his whiskers. I stood perfectly still, believe me. When we started to climb up to the dive platform, he came back to see me again. Talk about breathtaking!

JAMP, you would have stood perfectly still, barely breathing, until he had gone! I think I took almost all the oxygen being supplied when he left and I inhaled! Lord, he was a beautiful young animal with fur so glossy you wanted to touch. Good way to lose a hand, so I didn't...

Aknan --- Your experience with a sea lion reminds me of a very tame encounter with a hummingbird.
We were at the Arizona Desert Museum (mainly outdoor) and we were in a large net "hummingbird cage --- with about 10 other visitors. Hummingbirds were flying freely and one spied the applique flowers on the front of my sweatshirt. the bird came up to me for a closer look, all the while with wings fluttering, and hovered there for about five minutes. Not a soul moved and everyone enjoyed the bird enjoying my flowers!

That was some story about the sea lion. I guess. They called this one curious. Sounds like they are by nature. You have been blessed to do so many great things.

JAMP - what a lovely experience with a hummingbird. We don't have them up here - too far north - but at my SIL's house in San Deigo, I had one light on my finger after I'd had my arm stretched out at her feeder. I thought my arm would fall off before something happened!

That would be so cool. We have a couple feeders hanging o a post. I see them sometimes feeding.

Have been dealing all day about my mailbox. Mine and my neighbors are attached--and our mailboxes had an accident yesterday so need to get it replaced. My neighbors are not VERY friendly and didn't know what to do about it. So I was being neighborly and trying to help. I gave them all the association info and the rest is up to them to replace theirs. I am doing a separate mailbox. Hope your day has been good to you.
