One of the harder ones. Looks like she is playing peek-a-boo with someone. Wonderful picture. Love those eyes!

Yes, either surprised or maybe a bit of fear possibly. Micro-expressions in animals can be challenging to 'read' at times. Perhaps he senses he is slipping a little?

Looking for a new cat? Have you checked shelters near you? A lot of shelters have Labor Day Weekend adoption 'specials', offering either very reduced or even free adoption fees. Best wishes in your search to find another furry friend to adopt!

I have been to the shelter twice...just haven't had a kitty pick me...lost my "Maggee" the first of this year to kidney failure after many many years..got her at a shelter..she picked me..when I see my new kitty..I will know
