Coming in the door from my walk home from school...greeted by the smells of apple pies baking in the oven, apple sauce cooking on the stove...ummmmm!!!!! I still have to make apple things to have my kitchen filled with that old memory. Newer memories come as I share my apple goodies with my friends to enjoy!

Where's my piece of pie, boy does that look good. Not a pie maker, but guess I'll have to pick up a Mrs. Smith's. My mom could always bake a perfect very flakey, thin crust but I sure can't.

I'm not a pie baker either, my mom could bake a flaky crust also, thank goodness she taught my daughter who makes us pies now :-)

None of us managed to teach my daughter to cook, she even caught the popcorn on fire in the microwave. Still ify today...but the grandaughter does fine.
